The Cabernet Sauvignon grape provides a punchy first taste full of tannin flavours while the merlot grape softens this with rich cherry flavours and a smoother finish on the palate.

The warm climate, rich soils and varied topography of the Gisborne region provides the ideal terroir for New Zealand chardonnay and the Squashed Olive chardonnay is a fine example of this.
Packed with fruity flavours, a smoot finish and a slight oakiness, our chardonnay is the perfect accompaniment to chicken and rich seafood dishes.
